Konosuba movie watch order1/11/2024 I payed 13usd for a new experience I wouldn’t be able to find online in the normal series. I forgot to mention but Silvia was an alright joke villain, he perfectly suited the villain role needed for this type of movieĪs you can tell I did not enjoy this movie, it was funny at times but I did not pay 13usd to watch a basic comedy. I might have missed this in the original series but considering how Yunyun sacrificed Magic points or whatever for Megumin, why in the hell would you be mean to her? I get it, it’s suppose to be a gag but it genuinely makes no sense to me. Now that we know how selfless yunyun was in this moment in their past, why was Megumin always so mean to her. In the movie it was revealed how yunyun helped megumin get explosion magic. Darkness barely had any screen time, Aqua was same old useless, kazuma was hornier then usual, and the new charcters were quite forgetful. No characters except for yunyun and Megumin got any real development. This is probably gonna sound stupid but the character development in this anime was little to nothing. This is quite strange for a konosuba entery considering the OPs always strike joy from me. Music wise there’s nothing of note, in fact I don’t remember any music in the whole movie. The voice acting was quite good in the whole movie, the line delivery was perfect and you could tell the voice actors we’re having tons of fun with their roles. Each motion the charcters made was fluid and for the whole movie I never thought. The art in the konosuba movie was incredible, you could really tell that the creators worked hard on this. I’m not gonna spoil anything but it felt too stupid, if your gonna ignore the jokes and focus on the action. This is gonna be quite nit picky now but, I HATED THE WAY THEY TOOK OUT THE MAIN VILLAN (Silvia). However in the last third the jokes were kind of just thrown in, they didn’t quite fit the mood and they more importantly didn’t make me laugh. The first hour of the movie was a joyride, I was having so much fun and the jokes were quite funny. The fight was quite boring and everything felt kind of off. Ima be honest, I hated the last 30 minutes of the movie. I am not a reviewer but just hear me out.įirst of all the story is pretty average, It follows the classic gang on a journey to protect megumins home village. I’m probally gonna delete this review if I get a lot of back lash but for now here were my thoughts. Most of you are gonna see my score, check my list and point certain things out. Ok so first of all, my grammar literally sucks. If you didn't like the show, why are you even reading this review? Go watch something else, pleb. Overall score: 8/10 - If you liked the show and don't expect the movie to go above and beyond the show's quality, then this will be a great watch. True to the spirit of Megumin, they seemed to put more budget into just the explosions, which looked pretty good. Background characters sometimes barely have a face. animation was lacking in quite a few places, which is even more noticeable this time since it's supposed to be a movie. The Bad: Since the movie is basically just an extended episode, the Nothing special, but no one watches Konosuba for the plot, amirite? ) Story-wise, it's a simple story about the gang visiting Megumin and Yunyun's hometown. The interactions between the characters were a goldmine of laughs for me. Kazuma's antics are entertaining as always, Megumin gets plenty of fanservice, Yunyun gets a bit more screentime, and even the new villain is memorable. The Good - The humor is on point, exactly the same quality as the show. TL DR: Basically a 1.5-hour long version of the show, with all the jokes and fanservice you'd expect from Konosuba!
